H2O2-Assisted Hydrothermal Process: A Green, Versatile Route to Synthesize Size-Controllable Nitrogen-Doped...
Abstract
A green, low cost, and simple way to prepare water-soluble, highly nitrogen-doped fluorescent carbon nanoparticles (FCNs) on a large scale with tunable size and photoluminescent properties is proposed here via the H2O2-assisted hydrothermal treatment of cocoon of Bombyx mori. The prepared FCNs show good cell permeability, low cytotoxicity in living cells, and excellent electrocatalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR).
